IN A FEW WORDS

We’re a Croatian-based TO, organizing active holiday & cultural trips in Croatia and the Balkans (Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo & Albania).

Operating from Zagreb (capital), we organize thematic adventures for individuals & groups. Our trips are based on:

• HIKING
• CYCLING & MTB-ing
• MULTY-ACTIVITY (hiking, cycling, watersports, rock-climbing)
• DISCOVERY (culture & gastronomy)

We have also set up the basis for good-quality birdwatching trips – strong partners and amazing natural heritage are already here and we’re hoping to initiate and contribute to more infrastructural projects in the near future.

Elements of each adventure theme can be incorporated in every type of trip, according to the extent of the trip idea and/or request.

• ATTA membership and active involvement
• Partnerships on the VIA DINARICA project (Outside magazine reward for BEST NEW TRAIL in 2014)

We strive to:

• Create a true and in-depth adventure, bringing you closer to where and who you really are
• Convey „The Story“ of local people and wildlife
• Contribute to and initiate projects that will help bring back life (people, animals and plants) to socially, habitat-wise or for other reasons endangered areas

VMD Adventure Team:

Laura Popovac – CEO & Program manager  / Over 10 years of developing, leading and managing adventure, cultural and business trips in VMD. Main coordinator for MICE activities / Former active member (& director) of the mountaineering section of club „VELEBIT“, Zagreb. In the last few years, a proud mother and active businesswoman, steering the VMD team, both in ideas as well as office functionality.

Edo Vričić – Program manager & Marketing coordinator / Almost 10 years of leading trips and developing adventures & cultural encounters. The main coordinator for marketing activities and quality standards in the VMD team / Edo is a passionate caver and hiker, an active member of the Speleological section of the Mountaineering club Velebit.  Often spends his free time exploring the wild terrain of the Dinaric mountains, above and underground. Enjoys people and sharing ideas and knowledge.
