FOOD & TRANSPORT

As with accommodations, whenever possible, we try to choose a transport partner that follows the environmental and quality standards which are in accordance with the RESPONSIBLE TOURISM policy.

As railway network and other types of environmentaly friendly transportation are underdeveloped in Croatia, on most of our tours we are using vans and/or mini buses. But, all our partners are asked to provide proof of their vehicles being within the EU standards of enviromental imapct and safety regulations.

During our programs we also try to promote the idea of buying and consuming local, home made food & drinks – everything from fresh fish and meat, vegetables and fruits, local wine and „rakija“ (home made grappa sort of drink), coming from the gardens and vineyards of the region.

Croatian cuisine is a mixture of fine seafood, grilled lamb, pizza, pasta and salads, with influences from Central Europe, Italy and the Balkans.
