3 different climates in an area of 1/10 of Spain, offer a variety of wildlife and landscapes rarely seen in the world.

8 National Parks: NP Plitvicka jezera, NP Paklenica, NP Sjeverni Velebit , NP Brijuni, NP Krka, NP Mljet, NP Risnjak, NP Kornati
11 Parks of nature: Park prirode Biokovo, Park prirode Kopacki rit, Park prirode Lonjsko polje, Park prirode Medvednica, Park prirode Papuk, Park prirode Telascica, Park prirode Velebit, Park prirode Vransko jezero, Park prirode Ucka, Park prirode Zumberak – Samoborsko gorje, Park prirode Lastovsko otocje
