Northern Dalmatia, a region of the Croatian Adriatic where rocky karstic habitats of the inner land mountains meet the sandy, shallow and swampy areas of the coastal line. During the program, you will see everything from the cliffs of the Zrmanja river canyon and Paklenica National park to the open areas and sandy, shallow coastline of the Zadar region and swampy habitats of the island of Pag. Pygmy Cormorant, Short-toed Eagle, Stone Curlew, Woodchat Shrike, Black-headed Bunting, Rock Partridge, Sombre Tit, Blue Rock Thrush, Short-toed Lark, European Bee-eater, Pallid Swift and Rock Nuthach are just some of the interesting species that might be observed in the area. We invite you to enjoy the rich avifauna of our coast and islands and season it all with a taste of the traditional Mediterranean cuisine and wines.
